I am in immense pleasure to be the chairman of Pattanathar Educational Trust which runs Sivanthi Group of Educational Institutiions. Our thriving and philianthropic higher of our management make every efforts of enhance and strengthen human bounding among staffs, students and management. The extensive activity towards the welfare of the neighbourhood is laudable. To put it in a nutshell, the management develops the right culture among the students and staffs. With various ambitions and aims in rendering quality educational services to the children and youth the management ever walks. Kundrathur, the abode of the great poet Sheikkizhar who composed Periapuranam, added another feather to its cap by the sprout of Sivanthi group of Institutiions. Amongst it, the Sivanthi College of Education bloomed and peaked as a unique pedagogic institution in this locate. With an intake of 100 B.Ed. and 50 M.Ed. scholars, this co-educational institution excels with brisk academic activity throughout the year since its inception in Feb 2008. Sivanthi Group of Educational Institutions saw the light of the day in 1991 by the untiring efforts of Pattanathar Educational Trust, Chennai – 92. Among the Group of Educational Institution, Sivanthi College of Education, Kundrathur being deeply rooted in Sivanthi Garden, Metha Nagar, Kundrathur, Chennai – 69., in the year 2008 under the affiliation to Madras University in a sprawling five acres of land with as extensive playground and other infrastructure. Our Chairman Thiru.M.Murugesan makes every effort to make this institution a college of excellence. “Enlight to Enlighten” is the motto of the college. The college aims at moulding excellent teachers who are committed to empowering marginalized and to build a truly secular nation.
